Jeremy Ramon Arbes (Jail photo)
KILLEEN (November 16, 2012)—Jeremy Ramon Arbes of Stanton, Calif., remained in the Bell County Jail Friday, charged with graffiti pecuniary loss after a vandal spray-painted a Killeen church.
His bond was set at $20,000.
Arbes was arrested Tuesday after an employee of Central Christian Church at 1301 Trimmier Rd. in Killeen saw a man through a window that had been spray-painted pink
Officers arrived just after 7:30 a.m. Tuesday and found the man behind the church.
One of the messages the man left on the church read, "Metal = Death."
The man claimed to be the ambassador to Guam, church members said.
"He had a huge container of Bud Light, he had his shoes and socks off he was on his knees and he was just going to town having a good time and he was surprised by the police who roared up and captured him," Pastor Mark Bushor said.
Bushor said a church member was working to clean up the graffiti.
