Killeen: New Photo Of Bank Robber Released

Police released a new surveillance photo Tuesday of the man who robbed a Killeen bank last week.

KILLEEN (May 6, 2014) Police released a new surveillance photo Tuesday of the man who robbed a Killeen bank last week.

The man robbed First National Bank Texas, at 4304 East Central Texas Expressway was held up just minutes after 1 p.m. last Wednesday.

He handed the teller a threatening note demanding money and said he had a weapon, although he did not display it, police spokeswoman Carroll Smith said.

The man is in his 50s and was wearing glasses, a red Titlelist hat, a gray shirt with the letter "X" on it, a vest, light denim pants and black Nike shoes.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about the robbery or the robber to call Crime Stoppers at (254) 526-TIPS.
