KILLEEN (January 2, 2013) ---Randell Stagg II, 21, was held Wednesday in the Bell County Jail charged with four counts of burglary of a vehicle, theft of a firearm, and credit/debit card abuse in connection with a string of vehicle break-ins in Killeen.

His bonds totals $65,000.

Jail records indicate Stagg was booked into jail on Tuesday.

Four different arrest affidavits for Stagg stemming from incidents that occurred between Nov. 7 and Nov. 19 show that Killeen Police officers responded to a series of burglary of motor vehicle calls in a neighborhood in Southwest Killeen.

Some of the break-ins happened on Margarita Drive, Orchid Drive, Baumann Drive, and Leader Drive in Killeen, all of which are in the same area.

The victims reported the theft of such items as multiple GPS systems, hunting knives, a debit/credit card, a handgun, a radar detector, a range finder, and several electronics.

The affidavits say Stagg sold some of the stolen items at three different pawnshops in Killeen.

Investigators were able to access some of the addresses in the GPS systems that had been sold to the pawnshops to locate addresses designated as "HOME," to locate some of the break-in victims.

Officers showed pictures of the items at the pawnshops to the victims to confirm ownership.

One affidavit says that on the same day one of the victims reported that her car had been broken into Stagg used her debit/credit card at a smoke shop on North W.S. Young.
