KILLEEN (January 15, 2014) Killeen police released a surveillance photo Wednesday of a man wanted in the use of a credit card stolen during the burglary of a vehicle.
The break-in was reported just after 7 a.m. on Nov. 21 in the 1900 block of Moonlight Street by a woman who remembered she left her purse in her vehicle, went out to get it, and discovered it wasn’t there.
When she called to cancel her credit card, she learned the card had already been used twice at businesses near her home, police said.
Officers obtained a surveillance photo from one of the stores that shows a man using the stolen card.
He was black and was wearing a dark jacket, dark colored cap, white T-shirt and jeans.
Investigators are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at (254) 526-TIPS.
