KILLEEN (October 26, 2012)--A Copperas Cove Independent School District bus and a motorcycle collided early Tuesday at a busy intersection in Killeen, but reports indicate no one was seriously injured.

The accident happened just after 7 a.m. Friday at Stan Schlueter Loop and Shawn Drive.

A spokeswoman for Killeen police said the motorcycle rider was taken by ambulance to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The school bus, which carried only two special needs students, was westbound on Stan Schlueter and the motorcycle was eastbound when the two collided.

Both children on the bus were wearing seat belts and neither was injured, the spokeswoman said.

Traffic was slowed briefly on northbound Stan Schlueter, but had returned to normal flow within half-an-hour.
