KILLEEN (September 24, 2012)-The Central Texas College Fine Arts Department announced its fall semester guest artist performance will feature clarinetist Mark Arritola on Tuesday.
Arritola holds a bachelor's degree in music from the Eastman School of Music and was a New York Foundation of the Arts Scholar.
He completed a master's degree of music performance at Southern Methodist University as a Meadows Artistic scholar and is pursuing a doctoral degree in clarinet performance.
Arritola has served as an adjunct faculty member of CTC, Temple College, and Georgia State University, a spokesperson for the university said.
The concert will be held in the L.B.J. Fine Arts auditorium (building 112) on campus at 7:30 p.m.
A meet-and-greet reception for the artist will be held following the performance.
Tickets for the performance are $5 for adults and can be purchased at the door.
Proceeds will benefit the CTC Concert Series Scholarship fund.
