KILLEEN (September 17, 2012)--The Central Texas College (CTC) Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) Team has launched a new program, Operation Step Up, designed to help businesses rebrand and improve their marketing strategies.

The group most recently spruced up Copperas Cove’s Floral and Gifts’ marketing strategies by opening a kiosk in the main Post Exchange on Fort Hood.

The also created a variety of coupons to be handed out.

A ribbon cutting for the kiosk was held Monday.

“Due to the economy, Michele’s, like a lot of businesses in the area, has seen a decrease in profits and customers,” SIFE Project Executive Director Taryn Ellis said.

The program is designed to help small businesses generate a profit by revamping their business strategies.
