KILLEEN (September 19, 2012)--A free expo will kick off in Killeen Saturday for Army wives and members of the community.
While the event is meant to encourage Army spouses, it is open to the public.
At least 80 military spouses will be on hand to share information on their home businesses and community resources will be available for anyone interested.
An indoor children’s carnival will also be part of the expo along with door prizes to be handed out.
Carnival game tickets will be sold to raise money for the Centex Humane Society.
The fun begins at 12 p.m. and will wrap up at 6 p.m. at the Killeen Civic and Conference Center.
V.I.P. Shopping will be available an hour before the event begins for the first 250 people to sign up.
They will receive a tote bag, discounts, and will avoid long lines at vendor booths.
