KILLEEN (October 11, 2012)--Bonnea Tindle was appointed to the post of city marshal by Municipal Court Judge William Gibson.
The city marshal is responsible for supervising the marshal’s office.
The marshal’s office serves all city warrants and writs.
“Marshal Tindle knows our system and the statutes she is charged with enforcing. She will definitely be an asset to the city in this new position,” Judge Gibson said.
Tindle served as deputy city marshal for two years prior to her promotion and has more than 25 years of law enforcement experience.
She holds a Texas advanced peace officer license, the city said.
