KILLEEN (January 30, 2013)--CTC is hosting a regional robotics competition Saturday.
The Central Texas Region First Robotics Qualifier event is part of the For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology in Texas program created to inspire students.
Twelve high school teams throughout Central Texas have entered the competition.
Teams build remote-controlled robots under the direction of professional engineers and mentors.
Winners of this event will move on to compete in the regional event in Arlington in March.
The event will be held in the CTC Campus Center beginning at 10 a.m.
