KILLEEN (September 10, 2012)--Killeen ISD will host the 7th annual Freedom Walk Tuesday to remember 9/11.
The community is invited out to the Killeen High School gym to remember the lives that were lost that day and honor local First Responders and Fort Hood soldiers.
More than 200 wounded warriors and staff from the Fort Hood Warrior Transition Brigade (WTB) and more than 100 1st Cavalry soldiers will participate in the walk.
WTB assists service members receiving treatment for wounds sustained in combat.
The event begins at 9:30 a.m.
