KILLEEN (January 7, 2013)--The Texas A&M University Singing Cadets will be at First United Methodist Church in Killeen Friday to help raise money for scholarships for local students.
Established in 1893 as an all-male chorus, the travelling performers promote the “Spirit of Aggieland” through festive pieces and hymns.
According to a spokesperson with Texas A&M University-Central Texas the group has performed for every living president.
The upcoming performance is a presentation of the Killeen-Fort Hood Area A&M Club and will be held Friday at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $12 in advance or $15 at the door.
Advance tickets can be purchased at the Greater Killeen Chamber of Commerce, Harker Heights Chamber of Commerce and HB Sheppard Cen-Tex Properties in Belton.
