KILLEEN (February 10, 2014) Three people were taken to a Killeen hospital Monday morning after an SUV in which they were riding struck a house when the driver lost control.

Officers were set just after 8 a.m. Monday to the 800 block of Florence Road after a caller reported that a Chevrolet Tahoe had hit a house.

No one was in the house at the time of the crash, but the driver of the Tahoe and two passengers were taken to Seaton Hospital for treatment, Killeen police spokeswoman Carroll Smith said.

Smith said the driver told police he started coughing, evidently passed out, and then lost control of the Tahoe.
