LAMPASAS (October 10, 2012)--A boil water notice is in effect for customers of the city water system.
Chlorine residuals fell below the state minimum of .5 milligrams per liter, city officials said.
Residents are asked to boil their water at least two minutes prior to consumption.
City officials will notify water customers when the notice has been lifted.
