LAMPASAS (November 20, 2012)--After leading police on a short foot chase Monday a man was arrested after a minor was sexually assaulted.
Thomas Jeremy Davila, 19, of Lampasas, was arrested after a man participated in an ongoing sexual relationship with a minor, Lampasas police said.
The relationship took place in the summer and after an investigation was completed, a warrant was issued for Davila's arrest, according to police.
Police arrived at a residence on Riverview Drive where Davila led police on a short foot chase and was then taken into custody.
Davila was ordered held in the Lampasas County Jail on bonds totaling $10,500, charged with sexual assault of a child, evading arrest and was held on a motion to adjudicate guilt on a previous marijuana probation.
The minor's age was not released.
