LAMPASAS (February 19, 2013)-No one was injured Tuesday morning when a fire broke out on the roof of Windsor Foods manufacturing plant.
The Lampasas Fire Department responded to the call just after 4 a.m.
The plant on 3rd Street was not damaged except for approximately fifty square feet of the roof which will need replacing, Lampasas Fire Marshal Reece Oestreich said.
Oestreich cited electrical failure as the cause.
The plant was not open Tuesday and employees did not know when it would reopen.
