WACO (January 4, 2013) A popular burger joint in Waco has reopened after a grease fire forced it to close for weeks.
Dubl-R Burgers reopened on New Years Eve.
The restaurant shut down for six weeks after a Nov. 15 fire burned one of the walls inside the building.
Owner Perry Weaver said Dubl-R Burgers looks mostly the same, however there are a few updates to the restaurant's interior.
"Re-opening has been a good thing," Weaver said. "We had a lot of our old customers come out and support us."
Dubl-R Burgers is at 1810 Herring Ave in Waco.
