Killeen: Local High School Coach Resigns

KILLEEN (November 16, 2012)—Killeen Ellison High School Athletic Coordinator/Head Football Coach Buddy McBryde will resign at the end of his current contract next spring.

“I have enjoyed my over seven years teaching and coaching at Ellison, though I have decided to make a change in my career. I am resigning as of the end of the current 2012-2013 contract year,” he said.

The Killeen ISD said it will begin a search for a replacement immediately.

We will begin our search for his replacement as soon as possible so the transition to new leadership at Ellison High School athletics will be as seamless as possible,” KISD Executive Director of Athletics Tom Rogers said.

The Eagles were a winless 0-10 this season.
