LORENA (November 30, 2012)--Some City of Lorena water customers no longer need to boil their water, city officials said, after a construction crew hit a steel-encased 12-inch water main under Interstate 35 Wednesday.
Several hundred people west of the interstate were affected, Lorena’s city manager said.
Tests have been completed and the water is now safe to drink, a city spokesperson said.
