LORENA (December 14, 2012)--Water will be shut off to Lorena water customers on the east side of Interstate 35 from 10 p.m. Monday until 7 a.m. Tuesday.
Water will be shut off while crews work to widen the interstate.
Customers affected are those south of Lorena who live in the Quarry Subdivision, Evelyn, Sutton Place, Old Rosenthal Road, South Old Temple Road, Creek Road, Telephone Road, Gruetzner Road, Woodlawn Road, Skyline Circle, South Old Bruceville Road and Clay Hill Road.
Customers will need to continue to boil their water even after water is turned back on, city officials said.
Residents and businesses will be advised when the water is safe to consume without boiling.
