MARLIN (October 9, 2012)--The City of Marlin Fire Department will host the first annual community-wide fire prevention program on Wednesday.
Those that are interested in learning more about fire prevention and fire safety are invited to attend the program from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Marlin Middle School Cafeteria.
An opportunity to meet firefighters and emergency responders will be given to attendees and a display of firefighting vehicles will also be made available to everyone who is present.
Prizes will be awarded to those who display the most fire-safe attitudes, the fire department said.
A hot dog and drink will be given out while supplies last.
