MCGREGOR (November 7, 2012)--Lark United Manufacturing of Texas, LLC, a company that assembles cargo trailers, has opened a manufacturing facility in McGregor.

Lark United is the #8 company in the nation for enclosed cargo trailer manufacturing and anticipates the McGregor site to secure a top-five leading producer position, a company spokesperson said.

Right now the McGregor plant employs seven, but is expected to increase to between 60 and 80 workers with an annual payroll of $1.5 to $2 million.

The 80,000-square-foot facility is located in the 9,500-acre McGregor industrial Park, sharing the park with SpaceX, Ferguson Enterprises, C3 and Heart of Texas Electric Co-Operative.

Applications are being accepted at the facility located at 2290 McGuffey Road.
