MOFFAT (July 6, 2012)--A fire Friday afternoon near the Moffat Fire Station burned about 30 feet of mulch and destroyed the car that sparked the blaze.
Moffat VFD got the call just after 1:30 p.m. Friday and crews arrived on the scene within about two minutes.
The mulch and the car were both burning when firefighters arrived.
The Pontiac sedan that started the fire was destroyed.
Both Moffat and Morgan's Point firefighters responded.
There were no injuries and no structures were involved, firefighters said.
