Nolanville: Saturday Is First Team Trial For Soldiers Running In Army 10-Miler

NOLANVILLE (June 20, 2013)--Saturday will be the first team trial held to weed out soldiers for the Army 10-Miler held this year in Washington, D.C.

Another team trial will be held July 20.

Soldiers interested in representing Fort Hood at the October race should attend one of the trials.

Soldiers must have a good running time and must be active-duty.

Training sessions are being held on Tuesdays and Thursdays leading up to the two trial events.

Saturday’s event will start at 6:30 a.m. in Nolanville beginning and ending at the Shell and Valero gas stations off Hwy. 190.

Interval training is being conducted Tuesdays at the Harker Heights High School track and on Thursdays at Carl Levin Park at 5:45 a.m. both days.

The annual run will be held October 20.
