OGLESBY (March 1, 2013)--An Oglesby man was held Friday in the Coryell County Jail after sheriff's deputies arrested him during a drug raid.
Brent Edwin Sulzer, 42, was in the Coryell County Jail Friday afternoon awaiting bond and facing two charges including possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance in a drug free zone, according to the Coryell County jail log.
Coryell County Chief Deputy Joe Blakley said in Friday afternoon news release that deputies from Coryell County, along with Gatesville and McGregor police officers served a search warrant early Friday morning at a house on College Street in Oglesby.
The home is within 1000 feet of the Oglesby school campus.
Officers seized less than one gram of methamphetamine, packaging materials and other drug paraphernalia, Blakley said.
