ROBINSON (January 3, 2013)--A Robinson-area teenager was sentenced to probation Thursday after he pleaded guilty to charges in connection with a 2011 aggravated robbery.

Waco State District Judge Ralph Strother sentenced Sergio Salas, 19, to serve 10 years on deferred probation.

Salas pleaded guilty to charges stemming from the December 2011 aggravated robbery.

John Paul Drake, 19, and Levi Todd McKay, 18, also were indicted for aggravated robbery in connection with the neighborhood holdup.

Police said the three were arrested in connection with an armed robbery in which an undisclosed amount of money was taken from four victims who were sitting in a car in the 900 block of Elizabeth in Robinson.

The robbers escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash but were identified and later arrested.

No one was injured.
