SALADO (July 1, 2013)—A 32-year-old man who was injured when he fell from a ladder while using an electric chain saw Monday in Salado was flown by helicopter to Scott & White Hospital in Temple, the Salado Fire Department said.

When the man fell, the chainsaw cut him on his forearm, the fire department said, although it’s not clear whether an artery was cut.

He was conscious and responsive when paramedics arrived, the fire department said.

The helicopter touched down at the Mill Creek Golf Club.

The man’s name, condition, and other details weren’t immediately available.
