TEMPLE (December 19, 2012)—Temple Veterinarian Terri Boedeker and her rescued dog Scarlett are back from a successful trip to the American Kennel Club Invitational Competition in Florida, and they brought several awards home with them.

Terri Boedeker said she's proud of her rescued Australian Shepherd Scarlett and her performance this weekend.

The pair were had five clean runs heading to the finals, Boedeker said.

Based on their scores, they went in as No. 13 out of the 140 in their finals division and finished strong in 8th place.

The rescued dog, once given away because she was sick, is now the most successful dog among her doggy siblings.

This was Boedeker and Scarlett's first trip to the AKC Agility Invitationals.
