Temple: Library Evacuated After Bomb Threat

TEMPLE (March 6, 2014) The Temple Public Library was evacuated for about an hour Thursday because of a bomb threat.

The threat was made in a call to the library at around 2:40 p.m. Thursday.

The building was searched, but nothing suspicious was found, Temple police Cpl. Christopher Wilcox said.

The library was reopened just after 3:35 p.m. he said.
