TEMPLE (September 21, 2012)-The City has decided to expand the residential curbside recycling pilot program.
Two new routes, on the north side of the city and one on the west side of the city, will be added to the existing south and east side routes.
The routes will be implemented starting on Monday.
The Phase 3 north side route will service approximately 950 residential customers.
The north side route runs from the north side of King Avenue to I-35, 3rd Street to the railroad, 3rd Street to the west side of 8th Street, and from King to Nugent and Oakland.
The Phase 3 west side route will service approximately 1,000 residential customers.
That route will run off of West Adams from State Highway 317 to the east side of FM 2271, including areas of Windmill Farms, The Highlands, and the Lakewood Additions.
