TEMPLE (March 6, 2013)--Temple's Park and Leisure Services will host a kayak and canoe class for children ages 7 to 14 from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday at Fort Parker State Park.
Children will meet at the Wilson Park Recreation Center on Elliot Drive and will be taken to the park between Mexia and Groesbeck.
Ten slots are available for the class, led by two staff members, both kayak and canoe certified.
Children should bring lunches.
The class is offered four times a year.
