TEMPLE (September 12, 2012)-Central Texas ladies will be getting all dolled up on Saturday for the Annual Ladies Red Carpet Gala fundraiser at St. Mary's Catholic Church.

The theme of this year's event is "Steel Magnolias" and will include a catered meal provided by Anna Payne with Clem Mikeska's catering.

Entertainment for the night will take attendees back in time to the 1980s with a comical rendition of the classic movie "Steel Magnolias."

The men of St. Mary's parish will serve the meal while pastors and priests from the area perform the skits.

Vendors will be on hand from 5 to 7 p.m. to sell items such as home decorations, makeup, and jewelry.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to use a photo booth during the evening.

It is open to women from other congregations as well.

Event organizers hope to raise $6,000 this year.

Tickets for "red seating" are $20 and "gold seating" is priced at $25 per ticket.
