TEMPLE (November 6, 2012)--Employees at Grounds Guys in Waco, a member of the Dwyer Group, will volunteer their time Thursday at the Ronald McDonald House to prepare a meal and perform maintenance work around the property.

The Grounds Guys, an international company, volunteers every November 8 to honor the memory of Monika Van Stralen, of Canada, a mother of 7 who tragically lost her life, along with her children.

“Since that fateful day we have experienced great comfort and strength from our faith and the unbelievable support that comes from pulling together as a family,” a family member (who also works for the company) said.

The Ronald McDonald house serves as a home away from home where staff and volunteers strive to provide a sense of normalcy for children and their families during chaotic and traumatic times.
