TEMPLE (February 14, 2013)--Three Bonham Middle School students were recognized Wednesday for their anti-drug essays.
The Temple Lions Club received more than 70 essays in the Lions Effort Against Drugs (LEAD) essay contest.
Madison Sanchez’s essay earned her a total of $400 for winning on both the local and district level.
Andrew Tye placed second earning him $75 and Hannah Wilson took home $50 after being selected for third place.
The winners are all eighth grade students at the middle school.
