TEMPLE (March 13, 2013)--United Way of Central Texas is looking for someone to honor as the winner of the 2012 Ralph Wilson Volunteer of the Year Award.
Created in 2007, the award honors someone who has made a positive change in the community.
The award is named after Ralph Wilson who influenced King’s Daughter Hospital, Salisbury Day Care Center, Ralph Wilson Youth Club, the Cultured Awareness Center, United Way and others.
Nominee applications should include a detailed letter of recommendation of how the nominee has been involved in the community, is making a difference in the lives of community members and is “living united.”
Applications must be received by March 26.
The winner will be announced at the United Way of Central Texas Awards Celebration Dinner on April 4.
