TEMPLE (November 21, 2012)--The Temple Police Department is accepting new toy donations as part of Operation Blue Santa.
This will be the first time in 15 years the police department has participated in the program that provides toys to children who may only get necessities this year.
All toy donations should be brought unwrapped to the lobby of the police department, located at 209 E. Avenue A beginning Friday.
Toys will stay in the City of Temple.
The department is working with area social work groups to determine the recipients.
