TEMPLE (July 26, 2013)--A Scott & White Healthcare trustee was presented with the 2013 Star Trustee Award Friday.
Drayton McLane, Jr. was recognized at the Texas Healthcare Trustees 2013 Healthcare Governance Conference in Fort Worth for outstanding work on behalf of Texas hospitals.
He was the CEO of the Houston Astros Baseball Club for nearly 10 years and now serves as chairman for the McLane Group.
“Drayton McLane has a long tenure of affecting health care and hospitals in Central Texas in a variety of ways,” THT CEO Stacy Cantu said.
