TEMPLE (September 28, 2012)--Three Temple ISD graduates received scholarships totaling $7,500 from the Texas Classroom Teachers Association.
Chaquita Brown, Rosiagni Carvajal and Jayden Ecker were among 42 Texas students to receive the scholarships.
A total of $108,000 was awarded to all Texas Students receiving the aid.
The program is funded by the estate of the late Charles and Phyllis Gottlieb and is administered based on the financial need of the student and the cost of tuition at the school they plan to attend.
The program is in its third year.
