TROY (December 11, 2012)--The City of Troy Water Department issued a boil water notice Tuesday for some of its customers.
Areas of I-35 north of the Troy Sewer Plant to the Tejano Bar and down E. Big Elm Road are affected.
A break in the water line will be repaired starting at 9 a.m. Wednesday morning and water will be shut off for 3 to 4 hours, a city spokesperson said.
Water system officials will notify residents and businesses when the water is safe to consume without boiling.
