WACO (November 24, 2012) - Waco police responded to an accident at about 4 p.m., Saturday on the corner of Sanger Avenue and Richland Drive.
Three cars were involved.
A man, a woman and two children were taken to a local hospital.
The woman hit her head on the dashboard.
Police at the scene say a truck was crossing Sanger heading west on Richland Drive when a red car driving on Sanger ran a red light. It hit the truck causing the truck to hit a white car.
The driver in the red car said the sun was in his eyes.
Police say citations were given to one person involving not having a license and to another for running a red light.
