VALLEY MILLS (September 14, 2012)--A fish fry fundraiser on Saturday will raise money to purchase ATV and bicycle helmets for children.
Helmets of Love was established by Kathy and Greg Burt after an ATV rollover accident claimed the life of their 11-year-old granddaughter, Madison Pierce, a few months ago.
The fish fry event will feature a gun raffle and auction.
Plates of fried fish, french fries, hush puppies, coleslaw, tea and dessert are $8 each for adults and $5 for children ages 8 and younger.
The cost to enter the raffle is $5 each or 6 entries for $25.
The fundraiser will be held at 5 p.m. at First Baptist Church, located at 302 Ave C.
