WACO (October 18, 2013)--Baylor University Regents meeting Friday in Waco approved construction of the $99 million Paul L. Foster Campus for Business and Innovation, which will house the Hankamer School of Business.
Ground should be broken in December for the 275,000-square-foot facility.
What Baylor described as “a historic gift” from El Paso businessman Paul L. Foster, a 1979 university graduate, accelerated fundraising for the new campus, the school said.
The facility will be built across from the East Village Residential Community on Bagby Avenue and is due for completion in July 2015.
The new facility will expand the size of the business school by 40 percent, Baylor said.
