WACO (November 14, 2012)—A two-car collision Wednesday morning at the intersection of 5th Street and Austin Avenue sent one car careering into the side of the 5th Street Icehouse.
No one was inside the building at the time and no one was hurt.
The driver of one of the cars, who was headed south on 5th Street, was blinded by the sun and ran the red light at the Austin Avenue intersection.
A westbound car struck the first car, which then slammed into the building.
No information was immediately available about damage to the building.
