WACO (October 22, 2012)--John William Kitch pleaded guilty in 19th State District Court Monday in Waco to using the Internet to solicit who he thought was a 13-year-old girl for sex.
Visiting Judge Philip Zeigler ordered a pre-sentence investigation for Kitch, 52, and won’t impose sentence until the investigation is returned.
Kitch was arrested on Nov. 7, 2011 after a Somervell County deputy sheriff, who was posing as a 13-year-old girl, began an online relationship with him on Oct. 7, 2011.
According to an arrest affidavit, the deputy reported Kitch made several inappropriate sexual comments during their chat sessions.
