WACO (December 14, 2012)--A Waco man was being held Friday in the McLennan County Jail after he was arrested following a woman’s report she had been sexually assaulted.
Dennis Keith Padgett, 60, was ordered held in lieu of $10,000 bond charged with sexual assault.
Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said officers were sent at around 11:45 p.m. Wednesday to a residence in West Waco after the woman reported she had been sexually assaulted by a man whom she knew.
Officers made an arrest at the scene.
The victim was taken to Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center for evaluation, but later was released.
