Waco: Two Now In Custody In Burglary Of Local Home

WACO (March 27, 2013)—Two men were in custody Wednesday night after a report of a home break-in that led to a manhunt in a North Waco neighborhood.

The burglary was reported Wednesday morning at a home at 2310 Homan Avenue.

Officers arrested one man inside the house and held him until other officers arrived to take him into custody, but the second suspect escaped, Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick, Swanton said.

The second man was later arrested at another location, Swanton said late Wednesday afternoon.

Charles Michael McKinney, 32, and Joseph Mormino, 50, were both facing burglary charges, Swanton said.

Online records showed that McKinney was held Wednesday evening in the McLennan County Jail, but Mormino’s name did not appear on the list.
