Waco police were looking for a hit-and-run driver Friday night after a car struck a motorcycle, sending the rider to a local hospital.

WACO (March 1, 2013)—Waco police were looking for a hit-and-run driver Friday night after a car struck a motorcycle in an intersection, sending the rider to a local hospital.

The motorcyclist, described only as a man in his 50s, was southbound on North 18th Street when a gray car that was westbound on Trice Avenue struck the bike.

The rider was thrown about 15 feet, but appeared to have only minor injuries.

He was taken to Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center.

The driver of the car didn’t stop, police said.
