WACO (February 26, 2013)—The annual Central Texas Science & Engineering Fair at Texas State Technical College in Waco showcases the work of students from throughout the area.
The fair kicked off with registration Tuesday and is open to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the John B. Connally Technology Center.
Students in grades 6 through 12 are competing for prizes, scholarships and a chance to attend the international fair in May in Phoenix, Ariz.
The local fair is one of 20 regional fairs held throughout the state.
