WACO (April 15, 2014) Police have identified three men arrested early Monday morning when Mart officers and a Waco police SWAT team raided a Waco residence armed with a search warrant.
John Enrico Tovar, 45, Constancio Medina, 51, and Michael Anthony Galvez, 51, were booked into the McLennan County Jail early Monday morning, jail records showed.
Tovar was ordered held on bonds totaling $18,500 charged with multiple drug offenses and failure to pay child support.
Medina was ordered held on bonds totaling $15,000 charged with two drug offenses.
Galvez posted a $1,000 bond and was released Monday on a charge of possession of marijuana, records showed.
Officers from Waco and Mart served a search warrant early Monday at a home in South Waco and seized drugs and ammunition.
The warrant, stemming from a lengthy Mart police investigation, was served at around 2 a.m. in the 1000 block of Primrose Drive.
Officers found marijuana, methamphetamine and ammunition inside the house, Mart police Chief David Monthey said.
"It was more or less a cashier's station in the front room of the house," Monthey said.
"The person purchasing narcotics never would have to go actually inside the home."
Monthey said three men were arrested at the scene and a fourth man was questioned by officers at the scene and then released.
"The charges stem from fail to identify oneself as a fugitive, to possession and delivery of a controlled substance, to possession of marijuana," Monthey said.
No one was injured in the raid.
