WACO (August 22, 2013)--A Waco man was held Thursday in the McLennan County Jail after his arrest in connection with a knifepoint robbery in May.
Bronson Sanders, 26, was ordered held on a $30,000 bond charged with aggravated robbery, online jail records showed.
Sanders was arrested on a warrant stemming from the May robbery during which a man was held at knifepoint while another man and a woman stole his belongings, Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said.
Gretta Kerrcheskia Green, 46, also was arrested in connection with the robbery but has posted bond and has been released from custody.
At the time of the robbery Swanton said a 54-year-old man was walking along Morrow Avenue on May 2 when a woman he knew only by her first name invited him into her home.
After the victim got inside, the woman asked if she could borrow $1 and the victim gave it to her, and then she left the house.
The victim stayed behind with a man and another woman whom he did not know.
At some point the second woman pulled a knife and told the victim to give her the rest of his money, then told him to leave the house.
The victim waited until the next day to report the robbery, but after he did detectives were able to identify a suspect and obtain a warrant.
